Philanthropy is one of the biggest aspects of life as a Sig Delt, especially at UGA! Sigma Delta Tau hosts two annual philanthropy events. Members also participate in many other Greek and non-Greek philanthropies throughout the year.

“[SDT Greek Grind] was the most incredible thing I’ve seen. All of the sororities come together and work hard to put on such a great show.”

SDT Greek Grind

Every fall, Sigma Delta Tau hosts their annual dance competition, Greek Grind. SDT's Greek Grind benefits our national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America and is the most popular and successful Greek philanthropy on campus. All 17 sororities danced the night away at the fabulous Classic Center in downtown Athens! The theme for SDT's Greek Grind 2015 was Rock The Grind.  We are proud to have raised $100,150 for Prevent Child Abuse America this past year. Greek Grind has continued to be one of the most anticipated events on campus and continuously produces a sold out show. The event features special guest judges from the UGA and Athens community. Previous judges have included UGA football players like Aaron Murray, Olympic gold medalists Allison Schmidt and Shannon Vreeland, country sensation Corey Smith and other various artists and celebrities. We are so proud to hold such a successful philanthropy.
